It’s been a long time since I’ve been excited about games on my Sidekick. Recently they released Monopoly: Here and Now, a pretty great rendition of the game, though all the traditional names have been changed (instead of Boardwalk, you have Times Square. Meh) it still plays like the original with a pretty surprising number of options. But enough of that…

Halo Graphic Novel Announced
Sunday, March 19th, 2006
Today Bungie announced that they’re releasing a Halo Graphic Novel. It will be called…
(Drum roll)
The Halo Graphic Novel
Okay, aside from the silly name, this seems pretty interesting to me. The Halo novels were a bit long-winded and would’ve done much better as comics.
The Halo Graphic Novel will feature 1 main story and 3 side stories. Bungie.net has previews of the stories and some of the artwork.
The storyline about the ODST’s “testing” Master Chief’s armor seems pretty interesting. Their hatred of MC is a cool story element was never fully explored in the games.
The Halo Graphic Novel comes out this July. I’ll be blocking out several lunchbreaks to sit in Borders reading it, before leaving it coffee-stained and unsellable next to the used cafe trays…
PS – The New Mombasa story’s art looks like Teh Grabbage

Unrizzle Tournamizzle 2007
Thursday, March 2nd, 2006
I had a friend that insisted that PS3 was going to be the end all be all of life and that UT2007 was coming out exclusively for it. I wish he was hear today. As I predicted, a franchise like UT, that has already sold itself out to consoles, WILL NEVER, EVER be exclusive to any system. It is too big, too hardcore, too popular. And the developers are too greedy.
But in that greed comes games that have continually whooped up on pretty much every FPS out there, argueably of course.
Much to the delight of all UT fans, UT2007 has been announced on ALL systems, PSThrizzle, X-Bizzle 3-sizzle, and PC.
It’s XBox Cheapo Bin Time!
Thursday, February 2nd, 2006
As you may or may not have noticed, the bargain bins at your local EB Games / Gamestop have been filled with great deals lately. Most likely due to the Xbox 360/Next-Gen gaming hype, both new & used Xbox titles are cheaper than ever–and many are Xbox Live Enabled.
Here are a few of my picks from the Xbox cheapo bin.

My uber-micro has suffered
Tuesday, January 17th, 2006So my latest addiction you ask? Starcraft: Brood War. (sorry, I don’t have a pic. Google dat.) Despite being almost 10 years old, this classic RTS is still entertaining and has a decent sized online community to boot. Unfortunately, I got pwned all day yesterday. I used to be good at Warcraft….key words: used to.
So what is this uber-micro you may ask? Once again the fine folks over at Pure Pwnage have coined a phrase that Team Squat has adopted. Hopefully that above link to wikipedia worked, so you can read a more technical description. Yet, it still can’t capture the hilarious movement that Pure Pwnage has associated with the term:
Got teh micro?
Huxley…Infinite Squatting Opportunities

Why care about Huxley?
Tronsta’s Biggest Squat
Wednesday, January 4th, 2006So I finished Half Life 2 for Xbox. Let me just say officially…wow. Hands down, greatest single player FPS experience EVER! Not even trying to puff that up. While I only played the demo of F.E.A.R., I can say that Half Life 2 beats it out since F.E.A.R. doesn’t have much in terms of gameplay innovation. It’s a runner and a gunner. Don’t get me wrong, F.E.A.R. is awesome and has an amazing story, but gameplay in HL2 is unparelleled.
So this leads me to my biggest squat ever.
Meet Mrs. Chief
Wednesday, December 14th, 2005
Spammy: “There’s no way I’ll ever buy DOA4″
Team Ninja: “But there’s a Halo Level in it.”
Spammy: “Meh, so what”
Team Ninja: “And… A Female Spartan”
Spammy: “Can’t Resist… Crapppy Game. Noooooooo”
Team Ninja: “Wut Wuuuuuuuut!”
Okay, so we all know DOA4 will probably be fun for about 10 minutes. Still, the glitzy, jiggly fighter has always been a champion of the xbox franchise; The 360 is no different.
DOA4 has a female spartan as a playable character. This blatant cross-promotion will no doubt score “Master Gates” (-Tronsta) some extra money to save up for his next bad haircut.

Step to Robin Williams and you will get domed!
Wednesday, December 14th, 2005You learn something new every day. Today I learned that Robin Williams is a gaming addict.
I must admit, I would’ve never imagined this one. If asked, I would assume he had no love for this sort of thing. Anyway, read the interview to yourself in the Mrs. Doubtfire voice for added effect…
“Oh dearies, it’s time for some positively dreadful sniping and squatting. Wut Wut!”
