Ok folks its been a long while since last we pondered the possibility of pitting primarily pictorial people against each other in a fictional fight to the finish. Here, let me wipe off your screen…
So yeah, two of the greatest figures in Xbox 360’s short but lively action history, Marcus Fenix from Gears of War and Master Chief from the Halo series. Alright gentlemen, touch gauntlets come out fightin’!

Quote of the day:
“Maybe next time we’re playing some FPS, maybe I’ll try and take it a little easy on him… You know like, maybe a couple of leg shots, maybe some arm shots… maybe stay away from that head.”
- FPS Doug talking about Jeremy in Pure Pwnage episode 8

I’ve done this on near every site I’ve ever posted regularly on. Leeched the idea from Gamespy, they do it every few weeks. Everyone posts about what games they are currently playing and how they like them. So let’s start, shall weh?

Keeping in tune with the whole “intensify your Monday night until you dookie all over yourself from sheer delight” theme that 24 has been known to impart, last night’s episode, while short on the body count, was high in anus-tighening suspense! A special German agent, a skanky generic European information broker, Robocop, and a spineless President round out the highlights of this amazing episode.

Today Bungie announced that they’re releasing a Halo Graphic Novel. It will be called…
(Drum roll)
The Halo Graphic Novel
Okay, aside from the silly name, this seems pretty interesting to me. The Halo novels were a bit long-winded and would’ve done much better as comics.
The Halo Graphic Novel will feature 1 main story and 3 side stories. Bungie.net has previews of the stories and some of the artwork.
The storyline about the ODST’s “testing” Master Chief’s armor seems pretty interesting. Their hatred of MC is a cool story element was never fully explored in the games.
The Halo Graphic Novel comes out this July. I’ll be blocking out several lunchbreaks to sit in Borders reading it, before leaving it coffee-stained and unsellable next to the used cafe trays…
PS – The New Mombasa story’s art looks like Teh Grabbage

I have a long commute to and from work everyday, and thanks to carpooling with my wife, I can get some PSP QT every now and then. Yesterday, while playing Twisted Metal: Head On I saw a pillar of black smoke rising from the opposite side of the highway. I know what you’re thinking… No, it wasn’t the Others from Lost.
It was something much worse. A ridiculous car fire had broken out on the opposite side of the highway. Although it was sort of under control, the fire was still dangerously catching on the nearby dry brush, making for a very nervous spammy.

After last night’s episode of 24, I realized two things. First, it should be renamed Squat Dat, since EVERYONE is getting squatted! Including Lynne, aka Samwizzle Gamgizzle, who went out in a blaze of glory. Secondly, CTU is by far the worst government agency ever. Why? Let’s just say when I worked in customer service and made calls to various corporations, I had a harder time getting into their buildings than these waterhead terrorists had getting into the CTU HQ. Oh by the way, what does CTU stand for? COUNTER TERRORIST UNIT!!? Let’s discuss how horrible they’ve failed at that title…

For a few years I’ve been distantly desirious desirous of the OQO mini PC. Have a look here. Pretty nifty right? Ya know what’s NOT nifty? The 2000+ dollar price tag! Bleh.
So there’s been some hype over Microsoft’s Origami, a small hybrid palmtop/laptop PC that will compete with the OQO. Take a gander at the Origami in all it’s origaminess.
So what, you might say. So what? SO WHAT!?!?

We all have busy schedules, and sometimes it’s hard to get enough time available to squat to your hearts content in the video game of your choice.
School, Work, Tupperware burping, and other obligations infringe on every gamer’s right to squat.
What do we do when responsibilities get in the way of our squat time? We squat in RL! (Real Life–for the n00bs out there)

As much as I hate to admit it because my girlfriend talks smack to me about Lost every day, 24 is probably the best action/drama show ever put on TV. I’ve never watched a show that has held my attention so strongly from start to finish, AND hasn’t required me to watch three or four whole seasons before hand for me to appreciate what is going on. I’m so hooked, and as much as I love Lost, 24 provides what Lost kind of leaves, well, lost, for me.
So last night, Ub3r 5qattx0r Jack Bauer, who as we all know is the sole reason for every single one of us waking up alive in each morning, brought intensity to a new high. Here’s a few highlights of the 2 hours special:
