As much as I hate to admit it because my girlfriend talks smack to me about Lost every day, 24 is probably the best action/drama show ever put on TV. I’ve never watched a show that has held my attention so strongly from start to finish, AND hasn’t required me to watch three or four whole seasons before hand for me to appreciate what is going on. I’m so hooked, and as much as I love Lost, 24 provides what Lost kind of leaves, well, lost, for me.
So last night, Ub3r 5qattx0r Jack Bauer, who as we all know is the sole reason for every single one of us waking up alive in each morning, brought intensity to a new high. Here’s a few highlights of the 2 hours special:
OK, I just watched the best LOST episode of the season and I’m having difficulty getting my mind around all the awesome new bombs that were just dropped. Let me try!
I used to watch 24 during the first season, but I kinda forgot about it. My girlfriend got me into watching it again and I must say it’s pretty good. And being a 1337 5QAXX0R for life, I noticed all the squatting that was taking place.
LOST was a rerun of Pilot parts 1 & 2 so there’s no sense in recapping it… except for the guy getting sucked into the engine. How scary was that?
Anyway, while we wait for a new episode we can chat it up about the next one. However I’ve been thinking allot about what a LOST MMO would be like.

Aight gent’s, here we go, an official SquatSquat.Com Lost thread.
So we all know what happened last episode. I found a nifty little pic that has a translation for those weird glyphs seen when the machine hit 0 and no one hit the code in. You start to hear weird things opening, heavy metal machinary, then Locke hits the code, AFTER the numbers had already hit zero, with one more glyph left to flip open, and it resets. So they find out they have more time than they thought. They also find that SOMETHING WILL FOR SURE happen if the timer runs out. Whether or not that will kill them will remain to be seen.

After going 2 weeks without any new LOST, we were all scratching our arms like Charlie, waiting for our next fix. After this week’s episode, we should all feel satisfied like Hurley after his fifth trip to the buffet table.

Well–no new LOST this week so I was forced to get out my Season 1 DVD set. The pick for the night was Episode 1.15: “Homecoming”, otherwise known as “The one where Ethan gets squatted”.
There’s a reason why this post is as much a “Squatworthy” post as it is a “Getting Lost” one.–The way Ethan got 0wned, I’m surprised that Charlie didn’t get a little Squat-Squat-Melee in there.

On this week’s episode of “I’ve just LOST another hour of my life”, Charlie’s losing his mind and having weird dreams about Claire’s baby being in danger. But is he taking those drugs? Is he having withdrawals from not taking them? His dreams seemed Island-induced; Are they? Who Knows!
Charlie’s dreams lead to him causing a fire as a diversion so he can grab the baby and baptize him. For this, Locke gives him an unwarranted, yet squatworthy, beatdown on the beach.

This week’s episode of “That Castaways Show” featured tons of Jack, a little bit of The Others, and zero of Michael.
While I found it to be a little dissatisfying, I can see they’re leading up to something better. Actually, just the preview for next week seemed more exciting that the whole episode itself!
As usual, the discussion at TV Squad on this week’s LOST shindig was very enlightening
