SquatMatch: SHODAN vs GLaDOS

shodanVSglados

So I beat Portal and like many others who have done the same, I’ve become completely obsessed with GLaDOS, the maniacal and devious AI system that runs the Aperture Science facility. Her sincere yet insincere tone keeps you guessing the entire time. Is there really cake? Is there really a “party”? You KNOW there is no cake. You KNOW there is no party. But…is there really a cake!?

GLaDOS!!!!!!!

Axion 3D – FPS action the Sidekick

It’s been a long time since I’ve been excited about games on my Sidekick. Recently they released Monopoly: Here and Now, a pretty great rendition of the game, though all the traditional names have been changed (instead of Boardwalk, you have Times Square. Meh) it still plays like the original with a pretty surprising number of options. But enough of that…

RPGvdFPS

Ok folks its been a long while since last we pondered the possibility of pitting primarily pictorial people against each other in a fictional fight to the finish. Here, let me wipe off your screen…

So yeah, two of the greatest figures in Xbox 360’s short but lively action history, Marcus Fenix from Gears of War and Master Chief from the Halo series. Alright gentlemen, touch gauntlets come out fightin’!

RPGvdFPS

We’re all about leeching here at SquatSquat.Com, so I’m totally gonna leech a topic from Wiggy, namely, RPG’s vs FPS, which requires more skill? Of course, Wiggy kinda leeched dat from FPS Doug, but hey who’s keeping tabs?

kimmy

So I’m watching back seasons of 24 last night and Lo and behold but I catch a glimpse of our favorite Asian gangster-gone-daddy on Lost. Mr. Daniel Dae Kim, the chiseled and hot tempered man behind Jin, also played in a few episodes of 24 as Agent Baker, a point man for CTU’s own para-military force. Not bad eh? In fact if you check out Kim’s resume on IMDB, you’ll find he has been in an impressive array of shows, including The Shield, Angel, and ER. Sheck it out, main!

Sidekick Game Reviews: Part 1

Wednesday, April 5th, 2006

sk2So I’m such a gamer that I even need to support my habit by playing these goofy little games for my T-mobile Sidekick. I’ve had both the SKI and SKII and I gotta say they’re pretty nifty. They give the most bang for the buck that I’ve seen in a while in terms of tech, though they are far from flawless. These days, 300 or so bucks will get you a Treo which is more powerful but not nearly as sexay.

Anyways, I haven’t been able to find much in terms of SK game reviews, so why not post some of my own? I’m a t00l, I’ve bought and played the vast majority of SK games, so I’ll be doing reviews in series.

24: Biggest Twist for the Series?

JackB

My girlfriend said she is not going to be able to keep watching this show if it keeps shocking her like it did last week lol. It is quite a jarring experience, if you know what’s going on. This week’s episode does a perfect job of tying up a few important loose ends and sets the show up for an amazing and unbelievable season finale.

gale

So we got some answers last night. Of course NONE of us were fooled by “Mr. Gale’s” little story. If I was Jack or Locke, I would have put a bullet in Gale’s head with that little “what if” story of his. But now it’s official…Gale is one of the Others! Which means soon enough, he most likely be PWND…

What are you playing? 3/28/06

Tuesday, March 28th, 2006

pspI’ve done this on near every site I’ve ever posted regularly on. Leeched the idea from Gamespy, they do it every few weeks. Everyone posts about what games they are currently playing and how they like them. So let’s start, shall weh?

Keeping in tune with the whole “intensify your Monday night until you dookie all over yourself from sheer delight” theme that 24 has been known to impart, last night’s episode, while short on the body count, was high in anus-tighening suspense! A special German agent, a skanky generic European information broker, Robocop, and a spineless President round out the highlights of this amazing episode.
