Getting Lost – Episode 2.19 “S.O.S”

lost roseSo Im sure all 5 of the people who regular this site have been wondering why there hasn’t been a LOST post yet. Well, as hard as it is to believe, I missed last week’s episode. What can I say, every now and then a guy has to Log out, Turn the TV off and do stuff in RL.

Anyway, a quick trip to lost-tv.com lets you know that there’s no new LOST this wednesday, which is good for me, since it gives me a chance to catch up. However, thanks to the busy bloggers at TV Squad, I already spoilered it… and that’s why I’m writing this post.

Here’s what I gathered from the TV Squad LOST spoilerfest for episode 19:

  • Rose & Bernard are newleyweds
  • She has the big C and was cured by the island. In other words, she has to stay or she’s dead. (And there’s no respawn in RL)
  • No Walt… Mucho Michael. Michael returns in the last seconds of the episode.

Thanks to bittorrent I’ll be watching this episode tonight. Until then, my trusty squatsquat regulars will more than likely fill in all the blanks.

Go to it, men!

no new eps till May 3rd?! sucks. gotta love 24 for keeping it new all the way thru. no repeats, no “recap” eps. having said that, i missed last week too obviously. saw the very end. seemed like a decent ep.

    gotta get Tivo.

I thought the story between the interracial couple was pretty good, and I’m always a fan of interracial couples. *thumbs up*

I liked the little evil smile from “Henry” when Locke was getting frustrated. I also kinda liked the idea that the majority of people don’t want to leave the island, or rather, have no reason to. Kate and Sawyer are wanted people, they can’t go back. Hurley has a hot psycho that digs him, and he has access to everlasting ranch dressing, he ain’t goin back. Jack’s wife left him and he didn’t even get a shot at the hot italian girl who…whoa…Jack TOTALLY wants to go back lol. Ok yeah but everyone else wants to stay and for good reasons.

I had a thought…if Dave was totally in Hurley’s mind (and ranch was totally in his stomach) then is it possible that he DIDN’T win the lottery?? That it was all in his mind?

I’m inclined to disagree with my own theory though since you saw Hurley on TV winning the money in Jin and Sun’s apartment, so yeah, scratch dat.

Overall the episode was decent, and I’m glad we got to see Michael again. Oh yeah and don’t forget “Henry” made reference to Walt, saying they would never give Walt back.

    Oooooooooo…

And yeah not having new ep’s all the time is lame, though 24 really is one of the only shows that does that.

Walt is sippin’ on Jesus Juice right now…

All around good ep. Who would of thought that they were newly weds?!

Looking at the trend of healin’ that’s going on on the island, can I go there to cure my case of The Monster? I mean, it should work….right?

“Henry” is continuing to show himself to be one of the greatest minor characters in a series….ever.

It stinks that we’re gonna have to wait til’ May 3rd for a new one. I’ve been watching the first season (Sqlid, I want mine back eventually) whenever I can. It helps me to pass the weeks with no eps while simultaneously forcing me to fall in love with the show all over again.
