EGM says “DS Lite comes out in May”

Unless you’re a n00b, you’ve been hearing about the DS Lite like crazy lately. There’s been much speculation as to when this thing is coming out in the states, so here’s another rumor for ya! Electronic Gaming Monthly claims that the de-uglified, redesigned handheld is coming out in May.
While we’re skeptical of the rumour, we certainly wouldn’t mind it coming out that soon. Metroid Prime Hunters multiplayer on a less-frumpy, brighter screened device can’t come soon enough! Even if it does look like an ipod knockoff from Canal Street…
