Getting Lost - Episode 2.17 “Someone’s About to Get Popped Right in His Brain”

So we got some answers last night. Of course NONE of us were fooled by “Mr. Gale’s” little story. If I was Jack or Locke, I would have put a bullet in Gale’s head with that little “what if” story of his. But now it’s official…Gale is one of the Others! Which means soon enough, he most likely be PWND…
So what did we learn?
1) That Locke could have had Peg Bundy, who is still looking mighty fine by the way, but couldn’t stop getting involved with his loser father’s business. I would NOT have gone after that money, just because if I did, I wouldn’t have been smart like Locke to NOT bring it in the house the first time. I would have had the money, and those guys would have found it, and pwnd me and my girl. But Locke is still a waterhead for choosing his loser father other his hot girlfriend.
2) We learned that the “balloon” was nothing more than a parachute, meaning that the island IS well known to Dharma, since we found a second parachute with supplies in it.
3) We learned that Sayid is a graverobbing psycho intent on killing someone real soon.
So, what do you think is going on?
I read that next week, this guy “Gale” is going to give Locke some extra info on the Hatch. Meaning he has connections to Dharma. Meaning that he is certainly one of the others. But what abou the real Gale? And why did it have to be a black guy?? LOL c’mon man, we don’t get a break EVER! Well, maybe on 24, not geez c’mon.

Lost has taught me to make no assumptions. I will not assume that this guy is with Dharma until they spoon feed it to me
The ballooning in supplies thing is interesting, although I don’t have it all together in my mind yet.
“Henry Gale” is definitely gonna get pwnd by Sayid, who’s got more bloodlust than Bill Gates has money.
I love how they made the real henry gale black just so it would be really clear to everyone that they weren’t the same person, LOL.
Poor Locke gets 0wnd so badly by his biological; I shed a tear. When those guys showed up, I would’ve said, “Guys, I’ve been waiting for you. Here’s all his money, and his address” Go to work, oh and can you send me a picture of his face when you show up! Thanks!”

i am not going to assume that the “others” are working for Dharma. i still holding onto my belief that they were stranded like the current strandees but refused to play Dharma’s games and are revolting. they could have just formed their own little camp of crazies like the French lady (Russo is it?).
i totally knew dude was lying about him and his wife. just not sure what or why? yeah that was some junk when it was a picture of a black dude on the card. thankfully for dude, his name wasn’t Jerome Jenkins or he would have been found out immediately.
and it also looks like i was right about the phsycologist chick who Hurley is crushing on. i think SHE is with Dharma and is there to observe them all first hand. tho it looks like next week she’s going to try to off Hurley. would be so sad if he dies. i really like his character. and falling off a cliff? isn’t that how Piggy died in Lord Of The Flies? what’s with pushing fat dudes off cliffs?

For everyone reading this, the real title of the episode was “Lockdown”, but I think Tronsta’s title is more apropos.
Piggy got 0wned in the head with a rock.
Oh, and The others are with Dharma, it was confirmed in the episode “Maternity Leave”

Dudes, you CAN assume the others are with Dharma. Don’t you remember Ethan was a DOCTOR in a DHARMA FACILITY?? And the Zeke costume in the locker?? The others are totally in with Dharma, they gave us that a few episodes ago for sure.

Ok I’m about to bust it out true n3rd style…
Some notable things on that door (if that’s REALLY what the door says)
*Stated Goal, Accelerated de-territorial of Ursus Maritimus through gene therapy and extreme climate change* - Ursis Maritimus means “Maritime Bear” in latin and is the official scientific designation for, you guessed it, a polar bear. Which implies the bear was real, not a figment of anyone’s imagination, and it was a part of Dharma genetic experiements.
*Activity Minimal During Lockdown and Restocking Procedures* - When Locke got locked down, no pun intended, that’s around the time when that parachute landed near the camp with supplies. Dharma is still alive and well, and watching, it would seem.
There are also a few references to the “incident” including a collapse of some escape tunnels or something. It would imply that the “incident” that the doctor referred to in the tape is the same incident that the door says. The door mentions the incident happened back in 1985.
There’s also a few references to system shutdowns and failures. Specifically, the Dharma intranet has failed and server equipment and the like has no safe place to reside. This implies someone or something on the inside of Dharma presented a threat to the project on the island. The Dharma facilities look broken down, well, the one where Claire was anyways. But the others look ok.
Pretty crazy. They have the potential to make this show into an epic. Or, to make it the biggest joke.

Jerome Jenkins, ROFLCOPTERS! i think the others are dharma folks. henry is dharma. but we need to know where desmond and jerome gale fall in. and how the losties are gonna stand up to dharma. how they’re gonna get off that island. what IS the island? what ARE the experiments? WHY?! why these people? was there actually a plane crash? AHHHHHHHHHHHH :::begins bleeding from ears:::

An interesting little factoid about Mr. Gale presented to me by my girlfriend. Henry Gale is the name of the wizard of Oz. Balloon and all. Found that interesting. Also, the chick whose house Locke was insepcting was indeed sayid’s woman. And here’s 10 bucks that says Locke’s dad had something to do with sawyer’s parents death.

Yeah, I heard about that wizard of Oz thing too. Interesting little trick by the writers. Someone at work pointed out Sayid’s girl.
Sayid doesn’t discriminate, he likes dark meat and light meat, must drive him crazy ordering at KFC.
Locke’s Dad is definitely Mr. Saywer.

ok, i missed that Claire episode. but i’m still not so sure that they “work” for Dharma. can’t explain why. they apparently know where some of these Dharma bunkers are, but then again, Desmond lived in the hatch for years apparently and he doesn’t work for Dharma, so far as i can tell. and where is he anyway? i wonder if he’s going to come back? however, dude, not really having a beard and all would lead you believe that he works for the corporation.

Whatever dudes, I dunno how you all can question that Ethan was with Dharma. That doctor’s office they found, where Claire was in, had Dharma all over it. Ethan was a doctor working in that office and had access to Claire and an obviously high ranking person on that island attached to Dharma.
I guess with Desmond though, there MIGHT be a slight doubt as to whether he was with Dharma or not. Though everything points to him being with them. He knew the hatch very well, he had been there a while and was expecting someone to relieve him, and when he left, he acted like he knew where he was going.
This show has the potential to either start kicking major butt or start sucking it up badly.
