My SKII has the best data plan. 20 bucks for unlimited data, email, internet, texting, etc. latched on to whatever phone plan you want. SKII is awesome but it's starting to show it's age, and more than once do I freeze the darn thing because I'm doing too many things at once and it just doesn't have the power.

I'm never going back to a regular cell phone again, though, smart phones are too hot, AND worth it.

Oh, and on the plans, of course their expensive. IT's MOBILE INTERNET! Cingular's all-you-can-eat data is 40 a month. (I get it for 20 a month cause I tether through my cellphone to my pda/laptop, but I'm a 1337 phone Haxx0r)

And yes, I use the mobile internet every day, as a matter of fact, 9 out of 10 posts i make to sq sq are completely mobile.

Someone help me!!!

The Treo is like 3 and change, with a 2 year plan. Buy it without a plan and you'll take a 6 and change hit. It's a decent pocketpc smartphone with a dookie sluggish processor so emulators and video will not work well at times. Word processing, web, email, and all the P.I.M stuff will be awesome though. Basically the two reasons I wouldn't want this phone are the small, square screen and the sluggish proccessor, but then again I'm a PDA snob...

There are more dzel smartphones coming out for a similar price, with sidekick like keypads, with wifi, vga screens, and WM5. *WUT WUT!*

People I've spoken to about the Treo tell me that the plans are pretty expensive. With all that functionality, you gotta pay to use it all.

Actually the Treo's are much better now, and cheaper. You can get one for the same price as a sidekick II, about 300ish. They have a ton of features and they are a fully functional PDA> NO Wi-Fi, though, which is why I wouldn't buy out of my Sidekick contract to get one.
