It’s XBox Cheapo Bin Time!

As you may or may not have noticed, the bargain bins at your local EB Games / Gamestop have been filled with great deals lately. Most likely due to the Xbox 360/Next-Gen gaming hype, both new & used Xbox titles are cheaper than ever–and many are Xbox Live Enabled.
Here are a few of my picks from the Xbox cheapo bin.
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
$20 New / $17.99 Used at EB Games
Ubisoft perfected the stealth-action genre with this title. It’s one of the best-looking games ever made for Xbox, It’s less than a year old, and tons of people still play it on live–for good reason.
Forza Motorsport
$20 New / $17.99 Used at EB Games
The quintessential racer for Xbox. Another one that’s less than a year old, with allot of players on Xbox Live. Gamespy gave it a 4.5/5.
Half Life 2
$40 New / $35 Used at EB Games
Some say it’s the best game ever made–I agree with them. Everyone should experience Half Life 2.
Project Snowblind
$20 New / $17.99 Used at EB Games
This amazing game fell under the radar because it was released during the height of Halo 2’s popularity. Crazy action/FPS gameplay, tons of cool techno weapons/powers, and a Live experience that rivals Halo 2’s make this a must for your collection.
Unreal Championship 2
$20 New / $17.99 Used at EB Games
This game is the 0wnage, and you’d expect nothing less from the Unreal franchise. Just buy it.
Street Fighter Anniversary Collection
$20 New / $17.99 Used at EB Games
Street Fighter is the defining franchise of the 2D Fighter Genre. This Xbox release has Xbox Live Support, Street Fighter 2 & 3, and Street Fighter: The Animated Movie.
Psychonauts
$30 New / $25.00 Used at EB Games
10 out of 10 game critics say this game rocks. Tronsta says so too. I’m convinced…
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath
$26.99 Used at EB Games
There’s a good chance that you missed this one. With it’s atmospheric graphics, superb storyline, and butt-kicking gameplay; It’s better than anything currently out for Xbox 360.
Even though you won’t see it on any gaming magazine cover; This is the golden age of Xbox bargain gaming. You won’t be able to get this much bang for your buck until Xbox 360 is obsolete–which won’t be happening any time soon.

YES! You must play it. I would actually recommend renting it…..it’s not incredibly long, but you’ll definitely enjoy the hours spent playing it.
No real replay value cause there’s only one ending.

Okay, I take back what I said about the Project Snowblind XBL experience. I just logged on and I was the only person playing it online. Now THAT’s abandonware. What a shame…
