i'm 100% with tronsta. the occasional splashes of scifi keep me guessing and a lil more confused that i like to be when watching a series, but it's definitely the varied array of non-stereotypical characters that keep me in the seat every week. tronny hit it right on. as for the mysteries: they'll unravel sooner or later. the danger and changes the characters are going thru: thats every blessed episode. i love this stinkin' show.

Tronny, glad to give your ticket to get on the Lost bandwagon.

I just finished watching the episode right now. Really really good stuff. Over the last few episodes, I started to develop a feeling that Ecko had a dark side. He was being wayyy too nice.

I looked at some of the comments on the link that was posted. Really interesting. I think Michael's conversations with Walt are all in his head. The guilt is making him insane. I also agree that it's possibly someone trying to lure Michael away from the group. I guess we'll just have to wait until next week to find out.

If you guys like Lost, wait until I start lending out my season DVD of Firefly. Great sci-fi show with great characters. Unfortunately, there's only one season. Still great to watch though.

Yeah I had the same hesitations, and I was actually a Lost hater. But after I watched season 1 (props to WiggumsGirth) I was hooked. Of course you have to realize what the show is really about, and it ain't mystery and intrigue. The show is REALLY about deep character developement. That's what got me. Don't get me wrong, I love the creepy sci-fi stuff (although if you want really creep sci fi, watch Invasion after lost *shudders*) but the character developement is really what makes me want to watch lost.

Case in point, Mr. Eko. What a story. And it's not storylines unique to a bunch of boring white Americans. There's Middle Easterners, Australians, and Africans. With accurate culture. I dig that.

Though they tend to answer questions with more intrique, but there's always a OMG moment in just about every episode.
